Easing pain and protecting fertility

Endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the womb lining grows elsewhere, usually in the pelvis. It can cause painful periods, pain during sex, bowel or bladder symptoms, tiredness and difficulty conceiving. It often takes years to diagnose.

Many women are told their pain is normal. Pain that disrupts your life deserves proper care.

Dr Jasdev combines medical and surgical options, and plans treatment around your symptoms and pregnancy goals.

01

Your symptoms taken seriously

Your history, symptoms and any past results are reviewed before a plan is suggested.

02

Options explained clearly

You will hear the benefits, limits and risks of each option, including simply monitoring.

03

Care that stays connected

Reviews are planned around your diagnosis, how treatment is working and any plans for pregnancy.

What endometriosis care gives you

  • A careful assessment of your symptoms and scans
  • Pain treatment that suits your life and plans
  • Surgery only when it is likely to help

How your care is planned

Each step is designed to answer what is causing your symptoms, what matters most to you, and what to do next. The plan is reviewed as results come in.

01

Talk through your symptoms and their impact

02

Arrange a detailed pelvic ultrasound

03

Agree medical treatment, surgery or fertility care

How it is diagnosed and treated

A detailed ultrasound can show cysts and deeper disease, though small patches may not be seen. Laparoscopy, or keyhole surgery, can confirm the diagnosis and remove disease. Treatment includes pain relief, hormonal options and surgery, depending on your symptoms and plans.

Who may benefit

Women with painful periods, pain during sex, ongoing pelvic pain or difficulty conceiving. It also helps women with a previous diagnosis whose symptoms have returned.

What to expect

Your first visit is an unhurried conversation about your symptoms. An examination and scan are usually arranged. Treatment usually starts with medicine, and surgery is discussed if symptoms persist or fertility is affected.

How Dr Jasdev works with you

He combines gynaecology and fertility experience with clear, unhurried explanations. Treatment choices follow current evidence and take your future pregnancy plans into account. You will always know why a test or treatment is being suggested. Women see him from Kuala Lumpur and across Malaysia, and some travel from neighbouring countries.

What to bring to your appointment

Bringing these helps Dr Jasdev see the full picture and make the most of your visit. If you cannot find everything, bring what you have.

  • A diary of pain and period symptoms
  • Previous scan or surgery reports
  • A list of treatments you have tried
