Pregnancy support

Close support through the early weeks of your next pregnancy

This is the care you receive once you are pregnant again after two or more losses. It builds on any tests already done. The focus is on early monitoring, treatment where there is evidence it helps, and support.

Early pregnancy after loss is often filled with fear. Regular contact can make the weeks feel less lonely.

How your care is planned

Early pregnancy can be an anxious time. Each step is explained so you know what is being checked and why. You will not be left waiting without a plan.

01

Review your history and any test results

02

Plan early scans and any treatment

03

Continue support until your pregnancy team takes over

What care may include

Early scans from around six weeks check that the pregnancy is developing. Women with antiphospholipid syndrome may be treated with aspirin and heparin. Progesterone may be offered to women with bleeding and a history of miscarriage, where evidence supports it. Emotional support is part of care throughout.

Who may benefit

Women who have had two or more miscarriages and are now pregnant, or planning a pregnancy soon. It also helps couples who want a plan in place before they conceive.

What to expect

Once you have a positive test, contact the clinic to arrange your first scan. Visits are usually planned every one to two weeks in the early weeks. Each visit explains what is seen and what comes next.

How Dr Jasdev works with you

He combines fertility and gynaecology experience with gentle, clear communication. Decisions follow current evidence and are made with you, at a pace that feels right. Questions are welcome at every visit, however small they seem. Women and couples see him from Kuala Lumpur and elsewhere in Malaysia.
